THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Baptism is the first step in the Catholic faith—it’s how we begin our journey with Jesus. It opens the door to a new life, filled with grace, and connects us to God’s family, the Church. Through Baptism, we are washed clean of sin, become children of God, and are welcomed into the Body of Christ.
Whether you are baptizing a baby or you're older and seeking Baptism yourself, this sacrament is where it all begins.
As the Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us:
“Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life... the gateway to life in the Spirit... and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.” (CCC 1213) -

Whether you're preparing to baptize your infant, your child, or seeking Baptism yourself, we want to make the process clear and welcoming.
If your child is 6 or older, or if you are an adult seeking Baptism, you’ll want to look into Christian Initiation (OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). This is a special process of preparation for those who are old enough to understand and freely choose the faith for themselves.

registration processIf you would like your child Baptized, please follow the steps below.
- Step 1: Complete the Baptism Registration Form - Online Baptism Registration Form
- Step 2: Pay the $75/child registration fee online or visit the Parish Office to pay by cash or check. When submitting your offering online please be sure to include your child's name and baptism date in the comment section. Once you receive your payment confirmation email please forward it to the coordinator to receive credit.
- Step 3: Parents will need to submit a Sponsor Registration Form and a county clerk’s copy of the child’s birth certificate to the coordinator at the Parish Office or via email at least two weeks prior to the Baptism. Hospital certificates are NOT accepted.
